Assignment:

Hello Families!

Try to do our circle time routine at home!  I have attached a sample routine to this to help you.  You children love circle time, so they will be able to help you out as well 🙂

CIRCLE TIME ROUTINE

Sing “Hello” to you child using the song we use at school

Hello (child name), hello (child name), hello (child name) and how are you today?

Use a calendar you have at home and count out the numbers up to the exact date.  Let your child count along or have them point to each number if they are non-verbal.

Sing the days of the week song to find out what day of the week it is:

To the tune of the Addams Family:

Days of the week (clap, clap)

Days of the week (clap, clap)

Days of the week, days of the week, days of the week (clap, clap)

There’s Sunday and there’s Monday

There’s Tuesday and there’s Wednesday

There’s Thursday and there’s Friday

And then there’s Saturday

Days of the week (clap, clap)

Days of the week (clap, clap)

Days of the week, days of the week, days of the week (clap, clap)

The kids love looking outside to see what the weather is like today, make sure to tell them to put their “weather googles” on.

What’s the weather, what’s the weather, what’s the weather like today?

Is it (insert type of weather), is it (insert type of weather)

What’s the weather like today?

Types of Weather:  Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy, Snowy, Windy, and Foggy

Letter of the Week

This week we are going to review the letter “F”
