Find something small in your house that you can eat (some examples—rice, cereal, beans). Take out a handful and put the pieces of food on the table. Group the pieces of food into groups of ten. Count by 10’s to see how many pieces of your chosen food you have! You can also count all of the pieces of food by 1’s to see how many you have all together.
Practice reading/writing the sight words:

You can also write them in sand, shaving cream, or salt with your finger OR build them with play-doh or magnetic letters.
Write these sentences on a piece of paper. Focus on using correct uppercase/lowercase letters, spaces between words, and punctuation at the end of the sentence.

🗅 Use this special writing paper to write about your 3 favorite vegetables. If you can’t print the special writing paper at home, pretend your finger is a pencil and trace over the letters. Tell someone at home what you are writing to complete the sentence. After that, make an illustration to match your sentence.
