Hi Students!
Today’s lesson is on Op Art, also know as Optical Illusion Art. This is a drawing method that tricks your brain when you look at your final work. For this Op Art project, we can make ourĀ 2-Dimensional drawing look 3-Dimensional, even when it’s not. Through following the different drawing techniques, you will be able to make an Optical Illusion of 3-D artwork.
Directions:
Watch the video and follow along. Use a PENCIL to start, so you can erase any mistakes, Once you have finished with pencil, trace with a sharpie or a pen before adding your color. Make sure you send me a photo of your work when you’re done on class Dojo, or email me at: editkoff@hps.holyoke.ma.us
Materials:
- Pencil
- Sharpie/Pen
- Paper
- Ruler (or straight edge. like a book)
- Crayons, colored pencils, or markers
