The word kindness might be difficult for children to understand. Here is a definition:
“Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Affection, gentleness, warmth, concern, and care are words that are associated with kindness. While kindness has a connotation of meaning someone is naive or weak, that is not the case. Being kind often requires courage and strength.”Dec 4, 2017
In other words KINDNESS=BEING NICE TO EACH OTHER
In this week read aloud “Camioncito Azul” was very kind with “Yellow dump truck” when he helped him get out of the mud even though “Yellow truck” was not nice to him at the beginning of the story.

After watching the video talk to your child how the trucks were showing kindness to each other.
Also tell your child how you show kindness to others, then ask them to share with you 1 way they can show kindness to each member of your family (mom, dad, brother, sister, grandma, grandpa, etc.) and draw a picture on their journals.
