Parker- ART- B Is For Bunny -Week of 4/6

Assignment:

Hello awesome Artists!  Here is a fun art activity you can do to create a Bunny!

Here are the materials you will need:

-Construction paper (pink recommended)  3 pieces of construction paper, 2 pink and 1 white

-Cotton balls, or mini marshmallows

-Glue stick, or liquid glue

-Marker, or pen

-Scissors

-Googly eyes optional

Here is how to create your Bunny:

Step 1-  Make a large capital B on your paper

Step 2- Using glue and cotton balls (or marshmallows), glue them around the outline of the B

Step 3- Cut out ears from construction paper.  Outside ear shape in pink, inside ear shape in white.

Step 4- Glue ears onto the top of the B

Step 5- Draw or add eyes, (googly eyes if you have them)

Step 6- Draw a nose and whiskers

Optional-  If you want to color your Bunny’s belly, and add flowers to the outside you may.

PLEASE take a look at the pictures I have included of my children creating the bunny.  This will show you how the finished product should look.   Have fun!  I would love to see some pictures of your Bunnies!
