Buenos Dias Geologos ! Good Morning Geologists!

We have been looking at volcanoes and learning about their different types and their lava and also at what type of rocks they form! Remember rocks formed from lava are called igneous rocks and when they go through weathering and erosion they become sedimentary rocks.

Once again watch this video from Mystery Science to learn how the process of weathering and erosion changes igneous rocks and do not worry about the experiment piece. I am hoping just like you to do them together!

Mis geologos en estos dias hemos estado mirando volcanes y sus lavas y las rocas que forman! Recuerda que las rocas formadas por la lava se llaman Rocas Igneas. Cuando estas rocas pasan por un proceso llamado Desgaste y Erosion las rocas igneas se forman en rocas sedementarias. Rocas sedementarias son rocas formadas por sedimentos (polvo de otras rocas).

Una vez mas les pedire que miren este video y contesten las preguntas luego, Mire el video cuantas veces necesite y no se preocupe por el experimento. Confio que lo podremos hacer juntos pronto.
